IS OUR PRIVATE TRAINING SERVICE RIGHT FOR YOU?

Our private training service can be used as an alternative to the group workshops, and is most beneficial to parents who may not wish to wait for an upcoming workshop (as dates vary), or who have a specific situation that is unique to their children and family, and therefore require a completely personalized service.
 

THE PROCESS...

After having obtained a full assessment  of  your needs during the CONSULTATION process, I provide you with a written report.  This report summarizes the information that was gleaned from the consultation, along with my recommendations for future training.  Also included in this report is a rough estimate of how many hours will be required for the rest of the process, which includes observations and the actual timeline of the training itself.  At this point you are under no obligation to continue with a training, I have simply provided you with enough information to help you decide whether or not you wish to proceed.

The next step in the process is the OBSERVATIONS, which are usually conducted in your home so that family members are in their natural environment.  In certain cases one or more visits for observation in the child's school is recommended, along with one or more meetings with the child's teacher(s).  

Following the observation period is the actual TRAINING.  This training is accomplished in a variety of ways, and is provided in a flexible manner so as to allow for scheduling needs, differences among families, and so on.   Each family receives its own individualized training program with a unique timeline for progressing through the trainings.  When it is requested, I will integrate training into the child's classroom setting in order to maintain the consistency that all children need in their lives. 

Trainings with parents and/or their children are scheduled according to each family's own needs, for example some may be in urgent need of frequent closely-spaced visits, whereas others are slower to implement what has been learned, and require visits that are further apart.  This service is extremely personalized and tailored to the unique needs of each family I work with.   No two families are alike, therefore no two families have the same needs, which means no two families receive the same training.
